No. The app talks directly to your Kindle over USB or your local Wi-Fi. It does not require a cloud service or account.
It gives the sender a secure local path into the Kindle. Start it from KOReader before sending over Wi-Fi.
Confirm both devices use the same Wi-Fi and that KOReader SSH is on. USB pairing can teach the app the correct device safely.
